Core Design Elements
- Outline: Classic fish-inspired outline that provides generous surface area and stability for easy paddling and catching waves.
- Tail: A retro swallow tail combined with parallel outlines for a faster, looser, and highly playful feel on the wave face.
- Bottom Contour: Features a concave-into-V bottom shape. This design helps generate early speed, transitions into the tail, and keeps the board highly responsive from rail to rail.
- Rails: Boxy rails that carry extra volume, allowing the board to skip over flat sections and maintain speed through turns.
Specs & Construction
- Construction: Built with NSP’s signature Elements construction. It utilizes a secure-cell EPS foam core wrapped in durable fiberglass and epoxy resin with a protective gel-coat. This makes the board highly impact-resistant and incredibly lightweight.
- Fin Setup: Usually outfitted with a twin-keel fin setup for hold and stability, blending classic fish spirit with modern, dynamic control. The boards use FTU fin boxes that are compatible with Futures® fins.
- Sizes: Available in multiple lengths. For example, common sizes range from 6'2" to 6'5", making them suitable for an extremely wide variety of surfers, from progressing beginners to advanced surfers looking to add a core quiver staple.
- Ideal Waves: Best suited for everyday beach breaks, reefs, and point breaks in waves ranging from waist-high to overhead.
